Nonviolent Direct Action Training

Join FANG for our final nonviolent direct action workshop of 2017!

This brief workshop offers an introduction to the history of nonviolent direct action and its implementation as well as examples of intersectionality within our community/movements, affinity groups and their formation, consensus decision making, and a discussion on self-care and community care. This workshop is meant to help prepare people to participate in actions, plan their own actions or just to have a deeper understanding of direct action.

There is a suggested donation of $5-$100 for attending this workshop. But no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

Please contact for any questions about the training or for any childcare/accessibility needs.

FANG believes in empowering and supporting frontline communities to learn and develop the skills they identify as effective in their own campaigns. This has led to meaningful partnerships and collective resistance to fracked gas infrastructure along the East Coast and among other movements.
