AMOR: Alianza para Movilizar Nuestra Resistencia

After the 2016 election, FANG helped to form a coalition of frontline community members and grassroots organizations called AMOR: Alianza para Movilizar Nuestra Resistencia; a rapid response network.

Working alongside local residents, FANG has been resisting Invenergy's proposed fossil fuel power plant since the day it was first proposed in 2015. Resistance to the plant is now widespread.

FANG helped form a coalition of grassroots groups and community members to oppose National Grid's proposed fracked-gas liquefaction (LNG) facility in South Providence.

Since the founding of the L'eau Est La Vie Camp, an Indigenous led resistance camp defending the land and water from Energy Transfer Partner's Bayou Bridge Pipeline; FANG has provided trainings, logistic/strategy, infrastructure, and media support on the ground and from afar.

September 20, 2018, FANG deployed two blockades at the Bristol County Jail in protest of their contract with ICE and in solidarity with the Prisoner's Strike thus launching our Shut Down ICE campaign.

For three years, the FANG Collective resisted a series of expansions to Spectra Energy's fracked-gas pipeline systems and compressor stations across the Northeast.

After months of FANG protests and a three person lockdown at their Providence HQ, Textron announced they would cease manufacturing their deadly cluster bomb munitions.

FANG hosted a series of rallies, demonstrations, and nonviolent direct actions at Citizens Bank's Global Headquarters in RI over their financing of Energy Transfer Partners. March 2018 Citizens Bank ended their line of credit with ETP.
